Are you looking for an exciting team-building activity that also gives back to your community? VOCM Cares invites you to put your best team forward and compete in the Cares Community Dodgeball Tournament!
Get ready for an action-packed afternoon of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun—all in support of VOCM Cares Community Services!
How to Participate:
Anyone can participate! Whether you are a group of friends, family, or business, we have two options for you to participate.
- Become a Sponsor
- Your business can choose to become a sponsor for the dodgeball. Your team will need to fundraise or donate a minimum of $1,000. You can choose from 3 sponsorship opportunities.
- Independent team
- Each team member will commit to raising/donating a minimum $50. This can be a direct donation or raised through pledges — whichever works best for you! And yes, donations are eligible for tax receipts.
To participate, please RSVP to vocmcares@vocm.com. Let us know your team/groups name and the level you wish to fundraise/sponsor.
FAQ:
How many players are needed per team? A team needs a minimum of 6 players, and can accommodate up to 12.
I’ve never played Dodgeball, do I need to learn anything? Not at all. This is a friendly tournament and we encourage anyone to participate. We will have officials on site to guide us through game play.
What do the funds we raise go towards? 100% of the funds we raise during this tournament will go towards the VOCM Cares Community Service Initiatives.
